It CAN'T be December already!!

Somehow, time has taken flight and I have lost the last 4 or 5 weeks. Not to say that I know what happened in the preceeding 4 or 5.....  I thought that maybe time might slow down a bit as I have been off work and recouperating from a surgery. But no.  Time slows for no man or woman, and just leaves you feeling REALLY behind. I did not forget that I had promised everyone a sneak peek at the second album that I had completed. It turned out so precious, I just have to share :)

I did add a bit of red ribbon to the front cover in the spine area before it went out the door, however it wasn't in this photo. It just needed that pop of red to complete it.

This is the inside front cover with a little notebook that tucks inside the red belly-band of the cover. This is a vertical paper bag album, once again, and in this one I used Recollections Rooster Provincial papers with black paperbags and cardstock. It is suited well to a recipe type album, however it can adapt well with any photo layout.

I have created mini file folders from the paper collection, and tucked a few into the pockets within the album. As shown above, each "paperbag" allows for a large tag to attach photos, recipes, or journalling spots.

This last photo showcases the inside back cover and features a waterfall page that is capable of holding even more 4x4 photos and/or notes/journalling. The album contains 6 pages, each having a page-sized side flap and large top-loading tag.

I've had to create two of these albums to date, and am thinking they won't be the last. I am anxious to create the next rooster album with the Graphic 45 French Country collection. The papers are a bit more fussy/busy, however the colors are beautiful.

I hope you enjoyed the peek! I'm off to explore my craftroom and see what the next project will be.
Thank you for stopping by!  :)
